The Bombshell Convention visits New Orleans!
Younique Cosmetics brought their Bombshell Convention to New Orleans this past weekend, and Royal Tours was very excited to have about 200 attendees join us for a combined French Quarter History, Haunted Ghost, and Red Light District Tour.
We all started off in beautiful Jackson Square and finished at May Baily’s (a former Brothel) at the Dauphine Orleans Hotel. Many thanks to the Dauphine Orleans and May Baily’s for their hospitality. The bartenders at May Baily’s actually created a new cocktail called the “Bombshell” in honor of our group. Thanks guys!

As a powerful and resourceful madam, she operated a network of brothels that thrived despite the constant threat of law enforcement. Beginning in 1920, she would operate brothels for the next 45 years, a span that has not been beaten in the history of New Orleans.
